THANK YOU, to all of those loyal customers that trusted my Dad to repair, sell, and for the instructions on how to care for their equipment. My Dad, Raymond Phillips, is the hardest working person I know. Everything he has done for the past 60 years, repairing and selling lawn equipment and so much more, has been done with absolute integrity! My father always worked honestly and he is by far THE BEST small engines technician on the planet. As this industry fades because our world is moving into using cleaner energy, it is a bitter sweet goodbye to Dave's Lawnmower.
My mom, Marie Phillips, has been the heart and computer side of their work. Together, they began their own business with Ray's Lawnmower on Southern Blvd just west of Military Trail in the late 70's. After 2 decades of service my Dad went mobile for a while with Raysgone Mobile. Then, in the late 90's, they bought Dave's Lawnmower.
As my Dad's work turns into something to study in history and museums someday, he remains a legend in his field and he and my mom will never be forgotten for their selfless service to south Florida.
